owls are nocturnal birds.Which means they are active at night. They eat insects, spiders, earth worms, snails, crab , fish, reptiles, amphibians and birds. Owls have sharp claws to hunt their prey. like insects small mammals and other birds .there are around 200 bird species.Owls have large eyes and a flat face. They fly silently because of their wings. owls are farsighted which means they cant see things close up very clearly but see see thing from far away clearly.
